If you’re just getting around to visiting us now, please note this was a premier website for new restaurant previews, nightlife calendar, and a community forum surrounding the nightlife and dining scene in Harrisburg, PA.In July, 2006, I was attacked twice in the same week, by hackers. They defaced my page and posted what appeared to be anti-semetic rhetoric. In addition the main structure of my site and files on the web server were deleted.

I’ve decided not to go forward with re-posting HarrisburgNightlife.com in it’s previous format. Although I had a lot of good articles posted about newer restaurants and bars, I’ve deciced it would be way too much work to try and rebuild the site which was based on the Joomla content management system.

I’ve instead decided to transform this into a blog that I can update as I see fit and put in my $0.02 on what’s going on in and around Harrisburg.

I’ll continue to comment when I can about nightlife, music, new restaurants, and projects in the area as well as post photos. It’s going to take time and that’s something I’ve had less of lately. The previous project as I had started it was very time consuming and after a very successful year became harder and harder to keep up with current events.
