A little over a week ago I was interviewed by Sue at the Patriot News about a piece that will run in an upcoming issue on whether or not 2nd Street’s restaurant row is living up to it’s name. I was very candid about letting her know where the excitement was and where the disappointments were.
We have seen tremendous growth in the downtown entertainment and dining sector and that was one of my reasons for creating “HarrisburgNightlife”. However in recent months, I feel there have been many disappointments.
I highlighted the fact that Cafe Fresco is one of the best all around restaurants downtown from a quality, price, and location factor. Check out this great review of Cafe Fresco from a former local.
Eventually one of the plans for this site will be to link to a list of my favorite restaurants with a small review, rather than a list of every restaurant in the area since many other sites do that already.
I was told to look for the article on August 13th. Until then I’ll leave it up to the readers to figure out where I thought the area could use improvement.
