From the looks of it, Fisaga has changed ownership and a new application to the liquor board is on display next to the front door.

The liquor application in the window is a sure sign of ownership change.

Recent rumblings indicate a possible name change in near future. “Spice” could be the new hot bar at 2nd and Locust Streets. Some minor changes could occur in the next few weeks including the sign above, but given this is the busy season for the open air bar I wouldn’t expect anything major to change.

god, i hope the gigantic lisa frank mural of a day glo whale jumping majestically out of an 8 year old girl’s daydream seascape will stay. i don’t know what i’d do without that (answer: never go there, which is also what i do now).

I’m not a fan of Fisaga’s, so I don’t care what happens to it really. A little mean, I know, but ’tis how I feel LOL

And I see this photo captures the pure magic that is Tom Sawyer’s Diner! Only in Harrisburg will you find a crappy diner car/pseudo night club/Hardware Bar II sitting on prime real estate. In fact if I had to take one picture to describe all of Harrisburg, a picture of that diner and its surroundings would definitely be it. ;)

I wish I had something witty and clever to add, but cosby and dskillz have, for the most part, said what needs to be said. Fisaga and Coyote’s Hardware Diner exist as living examples of the word “underutilization”.

similar window display at prive = similar name change? start the rumors now.

I have seen their Myspace page has changed from Privé to Privado. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Still haven’t checked out the “new and improved” Moet room there yet.

I think that location just set a record for name changes.

prive is now club privado. i noticed on friday afternoon that the once cracked window with the name prive etched in the glass has been replaced, as has the name. this was hinted at for some time, but now the name change is certain.

I don’t understand why they just can’t call it “Noma” and be done with it.

Spice is really a good name, not as Noma :)

Something to say?
