Blue Bistro opening soon

marvin_logo.gifSue reported today that the Blue Bistro will be opening in the former Jackie Blue location along 2nd St in Midtown. The new web site is www.bluewinebar.com and they offer a free drink coupon for registering on their site.

The coupon says it expires June 30, 2007 so I would imagine they will be opening soon.

Not sure what this place is supposed to be, but free drink coupons sends a real low class cheesy vibe.

Also, their webpage is absurd.

BLUE will open the first week in September. I got a sneak peak at the menu and there is nothign cheesy about the place - great menu, perhaps the best in the city, with something for everyoneone, fair prices and non-smoking!
