Escape from Harrisburg…

…that is what it will be called when DJ Ill Cosby plays his last show at Smalls on Saturday night. The well known mash-up and jack-of-all-trades in the Harrisburg electronic scene is relocating to Seattle and is playing his final shows this week.Ill Cosby performed earlier this year at the Summer Solstice Festival

If you missed him during his Sunday Services residency at the Abbey Bar, or his regular gigs at Epic, here is where you can catch the final three shows:

Thursday 9/27, hook’d, Eclipse; Friday 9/28, The Takeover, Spy Club; Saturday 9/29, Escape From Harrisburg, Smalls.

i hope not one takes the ‘escape from harrisburg’ thing too seriously - there was supposed to be an email campaign based on the iconic imagery from ‘escape from new york’ (burning building, smashed statue of liberty face, eye patch) that never happened. tonight is the going away party for my girlfriend and myself at smalls and will be my final harrisburg show, though i would not rule out sporadic appearances if i come back on holidays.
