Wow, that lasted, what? a few weeks?

According to Paddy, Konnichiwa never even got off the ground and is completely changing to something else!

I kind of wondered when I heard nothing about the restaurant portion opening and the Konnichiwa link was abruptly removed from the DowntownAfterDark site. Also, I was still hearing commercials on the radio advertising the “Tom Sawyer Entertainment Complex”

I’m speechless.

So I’m not completely wasting your time by reading this post, The Quarter, which appears to have a new website, will be revamping it’s menu next week. I’m not sure I want to be the guinea pig trying it.  I’ll let other brave souls tell us about it first.

Wow! Well, maybe all of our discussions had an impact. Maybe, just maybe, our less-than-warm comments made Ron reconsider. If so…yippee! We’re seeing that our voices really do impact the downtown scene.

Can’t wait to see what the next idea is going to be.

[…] it’s purpose as a family friendly retro diner, an astroturf “OMG party bar”, a short lived Asian martni bar, and finally a Mexican themed cantina. Better get your Cuervo body shots in […]
