I had a chance this weekend to visit the new Dockside Willie’s, formerly Angelina’s along the riverfront in Wormleysburg. I had read about all the changes to this familiar hangout that I had visited so much since the early 90’s and was looking forward to seeing the renovations in person.

Goodbye Angelina’s

On Thanksgiving Day, the Patriot News reported that Angelina’s and Catalano’s Italian Restaurant will close at the end of the year. New Year’s Eve will be the last business day for both restaurants. Catalano’s opened in 1977 and has been an icon along the Wormleysburg riverfront ever since.
